The Cinnamon Barn wedding venue is currently under construction, with plans to open January 2023. That being said, we are currently accepting tours and bookings and offering a 20% hard hat discount for all weekend rentals.
The Cinnamon Barn started with an idea, how do we create a space that is beautiful and inviting where our guests can celebrate life. The Cinnamon Barn is built from the ground up with you in mind. It sits on 9+ acres and offers a reception hall, wedding couple’s rooms, outdoor veranda, outdoor seating area, a tented option and other amenities you would need to host your wedding, corporate retreats, graduation, birthday or anniversary party.

With The Cinnamon Barn, you’ll have more than 9 acres of beautifully and thoughtfully designed grounds to create your dream event. Whether you are looking for a spring wedding near the fountain or courtyard, or a winter wedding under the heaters and warm romantic lights, The Cinnamon Barn has it all. The Big Barn
The Big Barn can accommodate up to 300 guests with over 6200 sq. feet. The Big Barn has a 28-foot vaulted ceiling and is set with a neutral white modern timber look. The inspiration for this barn was to take the guests back to Texas’s outdoor COUNTRY roots with a southern touch. The White BARN is inspired to provide you with a natural, styled space with rooftop cupolas and appointed details, with all the modern features for your special events. Some of the features include drapery, band/DJ-specific outlets, natural string, and up lighting, heating and cooling, a full catering prep kitchen, indoor restrooms, and furniture for your guests.
The Patio, Our Courtyard, and The Outdoor Ceremony site
We have multiple outdoor locations for you to choose from.
We have created an outdoor patio area perfect for those golden hours and sunsets. This 1,000 sq. ft space is complete with southern-style outdoor furniture, a movable bar, bistro lighting, space heaters, an available sound system, sun protection with shades, and overhead fans. Our guests can enjoy hosting a small event on the veranda/patio – enjoying the sunset next to our fountain, pasture and ponds.
Next to the patio area is the Courtyard, designed for outdoor events and parties where the sounds from the fountain give your guests an elegant way to celebrate under string lighting. We have tried to create a space that allows your guests to relax and enjoy each other and get a sense of indoors and outdoors. We also offer tented options for guest counts of VARIOUS sizes.
In addition to a beautiful outdoor ceremony space next to a water fountain with ceremony chairs and a beautiful arch, the venue also includes a large white barn with a movable bar that can be set indoors and outdoors with lighting that brings the property to life. The white reception barn is a mix of boho and contemporary texas country barn styles with an indoor bar, drapes, french and wagon wheel lighting and chandelier, and a lush babies’ breath altar with room for up to 300 guests to enjoy. 6 eight-foot farm tables and 300 cross-back chairs with lace cushions are also included in the rental. A prep area for your caterers and a vendor room for your photographers, and videographers are available as well.

While these are simply renderings of what’s to come, we are making progress on the venue construction every day. The Cinnamon Barn can host a variety of wedding-related events including engagement parties, elopements, rehearsal dinners, ceremonies, and receptions. You can bring your own DJ, caterer, or bartender, and use our on-site day-of-event coordinator all to help bring your wedding vision to life.
Located just east of McKinney and minutes from Lake Lavon you will find the property and the rolling landscape tactfully appointed to cater to your needs. Your entire guest list and all honorees will love our beautiful landscapes and tasteful décor, no matter the occasion. The Cinnamon Barn also gives you the freedom to choose your own vendors. If you are starting out and need contacts, we have a vendor list you can refer to if you need references for services…photography, catering, coordinators, entertainment, photo booth, etc.
