About Us

It really started with an idea, how do we create a space that is beautiful and inviting where our guests can celebrate life. The Cinnamon Barn is built from the ground up with you in mind. It sits on 9+ acres and offers a reception hall, wedding couple’s rooms, outdoor veranda, outdoor seating area, a tented option and other amenities you would need to host your wedding, corporate retreats, graduation, birthday or anniversary party.

Located just east of McKinney, Texas and minutes from Lake Lavon you will find the property and the rolling landscape tactfully appointed to cater to your needs. Your entire guest list and all honorees will love our beautiful landscapes and tasteful décor, no matter the occasion. The Cinnamon Barn also gives you the freedom to choose your own vendors. If you are starting out and need contacts, we have a vendor list you can refer to if you need references for services…photography, catering, coordinators, entertainment, photo booth, etc.

Planning a wedding on tight budget, with a guest list of 300ppl can get overwhelming. Every venue we had looked at didn’t seem to be a fit. They were too small, expensive, had strict rules, too far from Dallas, etc., but then we found The Cinnamon Barn! I knew right away it was the one! Prianna was so sweet, personal, I felt so understood! She was willing to work with us in every way. We cannot wait for everything to come together and have the most important day of our lives.
